Ambient Exposure

In our studio class we are working on Ambient Exposure. We were supposed to make environmental portraits. Capturing the subject in their usual day to day situation using props within that setting to tell about the person. We were allowed to use any available light, but not artificial light (flash). I found that I had a hard time with not cropping close to the subject, it sometimes lost the essential elements needed to tie the subject in with their environment. Here are the shots I got..

Jessica From Class!

This last one of Jessica, was taken with 35mm film. It was printed in the darkroom on fiber paper and scanned into photoshop so I could put it on my blog.
